Menopause Jokes Can Be Cruel and Harsh

Its not unusual for many to find humour in the plight of others. When a woman is going through menopause she is other the brunt of many menopause jokes. Unfortunately it can get to the point where a woman that is going through menopause is never taken seriously. She may become perturbed about something valid and instead of being listened to she is brushed off as being menopausal. It is not unusual for a woman to hear people snickering behind her back at work or even in social settings. The moment she becomes moody guess what oh she just has to menopause. Then the menopause jokes start. Of course the woman that is the brunt of these jokes is suppose to smile and find these funny. On the surface she may do this but many times she finds them hurtful. Yet if she says anything then there she goes again just another change of life episode.

It is important that the family of a woman in any stage of menopause be supported by her family. This means not just writing off her feelings. She is still human, she is still a person important to you in your life and she is still person that has her dignity. Don't make things tougher on her than they already are. If she is mad at you for something then best you ask yourself does she have good reason to be? Perhaps she is not the one with the issue here but rather those that are irritating her. So the next time you hear someone crack a menopause joke perhaps you may want to remind them just how tough this can be.

Incidentally you may want to consider changing what words can do to you around. Consider making use of some living life quotes to relieve the stress and help to get your through the menopausal rough spots.

Are You Blaming The Wrong Hormones For Your Menopause Symptoms?

It really is easy to blame everything that ails you during the menopause years on menopause. Gosh if you happen to be a bit cranky with the family members they will even write it off to menopause.

It really is hard to say whether the menopause years are the worst years ever or puberty is. I guess as adults we are suppose to be able to handle things better so we better say that puberty was worse. The menopause years really can be difficult though, but really there is probably a lot more you can do to lessen the impact than what you could do in puberty.

Both of these phases of life affect the hormones dramatically. Something that has to be remembered though in your menopause years you could be having more going on with your hormones than just the changes that are taking place in the reproductive organs. Many women are a risk for thyroid problems when it comes to the menopause years, and the worrisome part about is that they don't realize that they have a thyroid problem.

Although with menopause symptoms many women just suffer through them, if you are suffering from a thyroid condition it really needs medical attention. The symptoms of a slow thyroid which is hypothyroidism are very similar to the menopause symptoms. You will find that if you do suffer from this that once you are treated for the thyroid that you will most likely be able to handle the menopause symptoms much easier.

Menopause Bloat and Extra Pounds

Boy there is no denying that menopause is the pits. Even for those that are only suffering a minimal amount of aggravation for the change of life symptoms its enough to upset your life.
Then there are those women who have had to battle with excess weight for years only to have the problem escalate when they hit menopause. The key here is not to give up. If you stick to your guns and maintain a healthy eating lifestyle and include the proper exercise you are going to keep the weight problem to a minimum. You may not be able to totally stop the weight gain, but if you look at it from a positive approach as to preventing more pounds from appearing instead of trying to lose the ones you have it will keep you motivated.
Menopause really plays havoc on the emotions. It can create depression and is the key to lack of motivation during this time. This means trying to stay positive about your weight issues is even more difficult. So by reversing your thinking a bit it will help. So if you currently weight 180 pounds and you change your eating habits and you weight yourself and you haven't gained then take this as a positive sign. If you have lost a pound or two then its a bonus.
One of the key factors to getting through menopause is your approach in your thinking. If you really educate yourself as to what menopause is all about and are able to understand the changes that are taking place in you mentally and emotionally you are going to get through this a lot easier.
Don't let your weight issues compound your menopause problems. Adding exercise in any form to your lifestyle will go a long way in helping you both with your weight and menopause. Try to find exercise activities that are going to benefit your menopause stages as well. You will be amazed at how much better you are going to feel all way round.

Are Debts Making Your Menopause Years Worse?

One of the best things you can do for yourself when going through the three stages of menopause is to reduce your stress level as much as possible. The problem with the menopause years is that they take place during a time of your life which is still very hectic. You may be still in the work force and raising a family of teens. You most likely have financial obligations and for many women they are dealing with a high debt load as well.
One of the ways to reduce your stress is by getting control of your debts. Likely you have been struggling with this in your pre menopausal years and chances are you will still be dealing with it after post menopause. It doesn't have to be this way though if you take advantage of the great online debt services that have professionals who know all the ins and outs of getting debt cleared quickly.
Even if you are not in the menopause years yet having to deal with debt collectors is frustrating embarrassing and stressful. During menopause your emotions are already on a roller coaster and added stress only makes your mood swings all the more severe. Using professionals to help you deal with your debt most often means putting an end to the debt callers. Just imagine being able to answer your phone once again without the fear of being harassed by some debt collector, or not having to dread picking up your mail.
Something else you may not realize is that one of the best ways to help you cope with the menopause years is to plan some stress free vacations. You can only do this if your debt load is no longer an issue.
