Dealing with menopause certainly has its trial and tribulations. Its no wonder that women become moody, irritable and even depressed
with all that they have to deal with. Years ago women just accepted it as a fact of life and something they had to put up with. Now women are approaching menopause more aggressively and learning to control the negative effects it has on her mentally, physically and emotionally.
It is true that menopause
is a fact of life, but it is not true that you can't get through it without any help. There are tons of things that you can do to control and eliminate much of the distress that the various symptoms of menopause cause.
In the past there were so many horror stories about women suffering through menopause that younger women actually developed a fear on it onslaught. It has been the topic of many jokes. It would seem that every time a women in her mid years had a bout of temper or a crying jag, she would be labelled as menopausal as if she had some sort of plague. Thank goodness we have emerged out of these "dark ages".
The best way you can approach menopause is first by learning what is happening to your body during this time. Then you will know what to expect and it won't be so frightening.
